Not that I have anything against frosé – but where are all the other rosé wine recipes?
White wine gets to be paired with garlic and butter and cream and herbs in recipes. Red wine is used for meaty pasta sauces and deglazing your cast iron skillet after searing that delicious steak. But rosé is just….frozen into ice cube trays and blended? Why can’t we make something just a bit more sophisticated and creative? Something that reflects just how versatile this wine really is?
So I decided to team up with an awesome group of wine and food bloggers to craft a new set of must make rosé wine recipes, just in time for the Memorial Day holiday. Although these dishes and drinks can be enjoyed all year, they are also perfect for summer. Whether you are looking to relax with a cocktail in hand, celebrate a holiday or special occasion with sweet treats, host a fabulous dinner party or at-home date night, these 5 recipes will be your new go-to rosé wine classics!

Caitlin of Sips N Tips
This fun and unique take on the traditional mojito will be your new summer sipper! Grab some fresh lime and mint (bonus if you grow these yourself!) and mix them up with your favorite rum and sparkling rosé. Need a suggestion for what kind of bottle of bubbly to grab for this? Don’t expect to find the conventional recipe format on Clark’s site – his posts read like he’s right there in the kitchen with you, telling you exactly how to cook something. The conversational approach is really refreshing compared to other food blogs, who love to give you 30 paragraphs of unrelated life stories before getting to the literal meat. This light and refreshing seafood pasta dish is Clark’s summer version of a Cioppino. Katarina of Kat Cupcake
Kat is a healthy baking blogger who is always dishing up the most delectable raw, vegan, low fat/sugar/carb, and gluten-free options. Healthy eating never looked this good. And as if her blog name didn’t already give it away, Kat makes one mean cupcake. These vegan rosé cupcakes are the perfect treat to make for a party – or just to treat yourself. I don’t usually do recipes, but when I do, I’m doing dessert! This is a really fun and unique take on the classic pound cake, made with sparkling rosé wine! This adds a nice refreshing tang to the cake, similar to the way lemon would. It also has been soaked with a reduced rosé wine glaze and topped with a rosé wine frosting.
