What To Drink Every Day In August

August Is Washington Wine Month!
Make sure to stock up so you can properly celebrate! I’ve made a suggestion for each day of the month that honors the wines made in this beautiful Pacific Northwest state – some I’ve tried and some are on my wish list. Give just one of these suggestions a try, or maybe even a few if you are feeling adventurous. There are a few holidays sprinkled throughout the month, and for these I made exceptions to the Washington theme. But if you’re feeling festive, by all means, find a Washington substitute!
Wednesday 8/1 is Albariño Day: I love this Albariño. It was my first, and nothing has come close to it since. Complex and layered, it is one of my all-time favorite wines. I know you will love it, too!
Saturday 8/4 is Beer Day: The beer I’ve chosen, Midas Touch, is like a beer-wine-mead hybrid brewed with Muscat grapes and wildflower honey.
Tuesday 8/14 is Rosé Day: A source of debate between this date and June 11th. I say, celebrate both with an authentic French offering!
Wednesday 8/15 is Pinot Noir Day: I am not a huge Pinot fan, but this was love at first taste! Belle & Glos consistently gets amazing reviews. If you love big, juicy Cali reds, then this Pinot is definitely for you!
